1. Pastor Manuel Alface is the legal representative and advisor of Project Mozambique. He has been a great friend of Project Mozambique for some considerable time. Manuel is also pastor of a large group of churches.
2. Maria da Graça is the secretary of Project Mozambique. But as well as helping in administration work Maria also helps in a variety of different jobs, such as with the printing of the literature as seen in photo) correcting Portuguese texts, and organizing the team that works in the schools. Maria is very gifted in translating Portuguese texts into the Sena language which is a huge help in the literature programme.
4. Inácio Miquel is responsible for distributing the hand driven tape players and accompanying Sena Scripture cassettes. Inácio is often going out to the rural churches. Inácio has also been trained in repairing and maintenance of the tape players, which is what he is doing in this photo. Recently Inácio took on the job of distributing a Bible course to local churches.
5. Pastor Cazança works in our primary schools programmes. Pastor Cazança is no stranger to the classroom as he was a teacher before becoming a pastor. And through his contacts with former colleagues he has been able to open up doors for us to work in more schools.
3. Domingos Sozinho trains the Sunday in school teachers in the use of the children’s material. He is often out in the rural churches, such in the photo. In addition Domingos ensures that the Sunday schools are kept well supplied with our activity books, as well as bring the teachers together from time to time to introduce new lessons and to encourage them in their work.
